This September, Etheridge Ford is teaming up with FareShare—Australia’s largest charity kitchen—to help cook thousands of free, nutritious meals for people doing it tough across Victoria. Bring non-perishable food to our showroom and help us fill the back of a Ranger to the brim. Let’s show what the local community can do together.
Where to donate: 495 Maroondah Hwy, Ringwood VIC 3134 (Etheridge Ford)
Donation window: 15–25 September 2025
Goal: Fill the Ranger tub with staple ingredients

Priority food drive ingredients
At Etheridge Ford, we’re proud to support FareShare in their mission to cook hearty, nutritious meals for people doing it tough. The chefs in their Melbourne kitchen tell us that pantry staples like rice and pasta are some of the most valuable donations—they stretch casseroles, curries and tagines further, helping feed more people from every pot. Short pasta such as penne is especially useful.
Right now, there’s also a big need for dried chickpeas, cannellini beans and borlotti beans, which add protein and substance to ready-to-eat meals. Canned goods are always welcome too—and if you’re dropping some off, why not try stacking them into a “can castle” in the Ranger tub for fun?
Everyday items like vegetable oil and dried herbs or spices also make a world of difference, turning basic ingredients into comforting, flavoursome meals for those who need them most.
