The level of finish even at this entry level is superb and when you close the door on these cars, that lovely solid 'thunk' is incredibly re-assuring. Next on the ladder with 4 airbags, cruise, power windows, Air, power steering, rally bred 2.0ltr engine and much, much more, the Focus LX sedan or hatch is hard to pass by.
At the top end of the Focus line up, you really have three very distinct options.
1. Get the works in a Focus Zetec including brilliant looking 17' alloys and be the envy of your mates
2. Choose the beautiful new Focus Coupe Cabriolet, which will turn as many heads as you do
3. Make every drive an adrenaline pumping adventure with the 2.5ltr XR5 turbo - the hot hatch is back!
There is one final Focus that deserves special mention as it has not just won just about every award going, it is a lovely car by anyone's standards - and that is the new Focus TDCi - or Turbo Diesel Common Rail Injection.
The TDCi delivers is an incredibly economical engine that is quiet like a petrol engine but it is a diesel. Rather than try to explain here - why not pop down and experience TDCi yourself - seriously, you will have a hard time believing it is a diesel and your pocket will love you for it as much as the environment.
